A car was caught on camera swerving around a school bus and nearly striking a mother and her daughter. The exclusive video was captured by BusPatrol’s school bus stop-arm camera in Wading River.
Jessica Miranda tells News 12 she was putting her daughter on the bus just before 9 a.m. on Dec. 4 when the car cut around a stopped bus on the right hand side.
Miranda and her 5-year-old daughter, Dulce, were both so scared they started crying. The parents now drive their daughter to the bus stop and wait in the car until she is safely on the bus.
Police are asking anyone with information on the unidentified driver to call Crime Stoppers at 1800-220-TIPS.
