A familiar face returned to the mound, as former Yankees pitcher C.C. Sabathia hosted his third annual celebrity softball game at Yankee Stadium.
The celebrity game is supporting the PitCCh In Foundation, which aims to help inner-city youth make their dreams come true.
Tracy Morgan captained the away team, while Sabathia led the home team. Sabathia teamed up with Bronx native A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, former Yankee Johnny Damon, Ja Rule, and The Kid Mero.
Several youth organizations were invited to fill the stands for the game and cheer on their favorite celebs facing off on the diamond.
“Me and my wife started the foundation to help kids… who were in a situation that we were in, and it feels good to have people come support us,” said Sabathia.
Sabathia says he hopes to keep this tradition alive for years to come.
