CDC to review booster shot recommendation for children ages 5-11

Pfizer booster shots for kids ages 5 to 11 could become available as early as tomorrow if approved by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
If it’s given the greenlight, children in that age group will be able to receive a single COVID-19 booster shot at least five months after receiving the initial two doses.
The FDA expanded the eligibility earlier this week after a wave of new infections by the Omicron variant hits the nation.
