1h agoThe Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has launched a free COVID -19 testing locator website.
The new website is a part of the CDC’s Increasing Community Access to Testing program.
The tool helps find the closest location and allows users to make an appointment with them directly.
There are currently 10 free sites that offer two variations of testing, including rapid testing in the Bronx.
Those who test positive at any of those sites can also receive a prescription from a physician through the new web tool. All results from the testing are provided in 24 to 48 hours.
