The NYPD honored the two officers who were fatally shot in Brooklyn one year ago Sunday.
Police Commissioner Bill Bratton attended a memorial and plaque dedication ceremony for slain NYPD Detectives Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos.
Liu and Ramos were gunned down while sitting in their patrol car in Bedford-Stuyvesant last December.
Both officers were taking part in an anti-terrorism drill when the shooter walked up to their patrol car and shot multiple rounds.
Other officers immediately went after the suspect who took his own life at a nearby subway station.
The plaque dedication ceremony took place outside the 84th Precinct in Brooklyn. The families of both detectives were in attendance to for the unveiling of the plaques.
A wreath-laying ceremony was then held in Bedford-Stuyvesant.
