Prosecutors have upgraded the charges against three suspects in connection with the death of a man outside a Bronx restaurant earlier this month.
Donell Soto was beaten severely and later died in a hospital.
Three of the suspects in the attack, Joel Hernandez, Jenny Gutierrez and Hector Quezada, have been indicted on charges of first-degree manslaughter, first-degree assault and second-degree gang assault. They are due back in court on Jan. 23.
Three other suspects remain at large.
Investigators say Soto, the suspects and others became involved in an argument outside the Parrilla Latina Restaurant on Broadway in Kingsbridge.
Video shows Soto getting punched and kicked in the head.
Soto's family says there will be a rally outside the restaurant Thursday calling for increased security there. The family also says the suspects' bails were set too low.
