Professional radio and TV personality Charlamagne tha God spoke to students in Baychester Monday, advocating for a change in the narratives surrounding race with his new book.
“I feel like it's a privilege and an honor to be black,” Charlamagne said. “I mean I feel like it's a privilege and an honor to be whatever it is that you are."
Martin Sanders, a teacher at M.S. 127 describes Charlamagne’s new book, “Black Privilege,” as a quintessential book for young people. He tells News 12 that he even assigned it as required reading for his seventh-grade class.
