Chelsea Piers offers fun activities that can be done safely while keeping people active

A local sports complex has dozens of different activities that can be done safely and get people active.
The waterfront 28 acres of Chelsea Piers houses a fitness club, field house, driving range and other spaces for people to practice more than a dozen different sports.
The cycling studio has massive open walls. Social distancing is practiced during the Pilates classes as the complex has posted signs all around to remind people to wear their masks and stay six feet apart.
Over at the driving range, anyone can come in and rent sanitized clubs if they don't have their own. Golfers are separated with partitions as the golf balls come up automatically to limit physical contact. Plus, there are heaters to help customers stay warm.
In the field house, kids can play soccer as part of Chelsea Piers has student pods where the kids only interact with the same handful of children every week. Coaches can also do private lessons for kids.
The massive complex also houses a bowling alley, skating rink for private lessons, and even gymnastics. The complex offers a variety of activities that are exciting for all ages.
