A fire left a child hurt and two households displaced Monday evening in Concourse Village, according to the FDNY.
Officials say the blaze began on the first floor of the building on East 169th Street. Crews were able to control the flames in just under an hour.
The child was hospitalized and treated for minor injuries. No other injuries were reported.
Authorities say the Red Cross is providing the displaced residents with assistance, including temporary housing and financial aid.
As of Tuesday morning, the cause of the fire remains unclear.
