The plaque at the bottom of the statue reads "A woman who helped build New York City."
The Diocese of Brooklyn told News 12, $40,000 was donated to pay for the statue and shrine.
The statue was made in Argentina and shipped to NYC.
The actual reveal was proceeded by a beautiful mass.
The whole ceremony was originally delayed due to COVID-19.
The Bishop of Brooklyn Nicholas Dimarzio told News 12 it was great seeing so many people witness the unveiling to help spread Mother Cabrini's message.
