The MTA is having workers lay down plywood over street grates to prevent flooding in the subway.
The agency is also setting up trains specifically for this weather and for cleanup afterward.
Gov. Kathy Hochul says she is sending more than a 1,000 large dump trucks, around 7,000 utility workers, and an extra 1,500 ConEdison workers across the state to help out too.
