City Island residents are rallying in an attempt to get life back to normal two weeks after being dealt a tough blow by Hurricane Sandy. The storm caused massive power outages, flooding and destructive fires when it roared onshore back on Oct. 29. Locals say many of the restaurants have been hurt by a lack of business, coupled with the gas shortage. However, members of this tight-knit community say they're confident the area will bounce back.
