The storms have passed but the rain continues for the overnight hours.
Post thunderstorms, rain will linger into early Wednesday, drying out by the second half of the day. This means you should bring your umbrella for the morning commute as things will still be soggy-- with light to moderate showers at times.
The good news? The rest of the week looks very nice and summer-like. Thursday has a stray thunderstorm chance, but Wednesday evening and Friday (Fourth of July) look fine.
OVERNIGHT: Storms transition to showers. Lows in the 70s. Warm and muggy with low wind.
WEDNESDAY: Showers for the morning clear out around lunch time. We stay on the cloudy side. Light winds, highs in the 80s and lows in the 70s.
THURSDAY: Mostly dry, stray shower or thunderstorm chance. Highs in the high 80s. Lows in the low 70s.
FRIDAY FOURTH OF JULY: Looking close to perfect. Light breeze, sunshine, highs in the low 80s. So far so good.
