Community liaison eases construction woes in New York City

Construction seems to always be underway in New York City, but there is someone who can help you address any hassle that it could have to your daily life.
A community liaison, who works for the Department of Design and Construction, will let residents know ahead of time when there will be disruption in a construction project - like a line closure.
Liaison Joanna Rojas says she helps people understand the ins and outs of a project, with many liaisons assigned to major ones around the city.
To find your community liaison, you can visit the DDC's website or contact your community board.
