A massive sinkhole on the corner of E. 204th Street and Perry Avenue is causing major concerns for commuters.
The hole sits inches underneath what remains of the blacktop and there's only a cone and a small barrier separating it from drivers and pedestrians.
School buses have been caught backing up out of the busy intersection and maneuvering around the hole, and passersby walk along on the side in an attempt to avoid it.
The problem has been going on for two weeks, witnesses say, and it has now become a dangerous situation.
News 12 reached out to the Departments of Environment Protection and Transportation, but has yet to hear back.
