News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Darryl Green says New York City will see cooler temperatures stick around with a possible return to rainy weather Wednesday through Friday.
TROPICAL STORM FRANKLIN: A tropical storm warning is active for the entire southern coast of the Dominican Republic and near the Haitian border. A tropical storm watch is in effect for the northern parts of the Dominican Republic and the Turks and Caicos Islands.
TONIGHT: Cloudy and cool weather sticks around. Lows near 62.
WEDNESDAY: Unsettled and cloudy. Periods of scattered showers. Highs near 75. Lows near 68.
THURSDAY: Mostly cloudy. Slight chance of showers, Highs in upper 70s. 
FRIDAY: Morning showers - slowly ending. Highs near 81. Lows near 68.
SATURDAY: Really nice! Highs near 77. Lows near 67.
SUNDAY: Beautiful and fresh! Highs near 75. Lows near 63.
