Police hope a sketch will help them catch a man who tried to force a girl into his van at a Bronx bus stop.
According to police, the 16-year-old was walking to a bus stop at E. 170th Street and Wilkens Avenue around 9 a.m. Oct. 4. A man drove up in a white GMC van and tried to pull the teen into the vehicle.
Police say the victim broke free and started to call 911 on her cell phone when the man pulled up beside her and exposed himself before speeding off.Police believe the man is between the ages of 30 and 40. Anyone with information about the attempted abduction, is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
