Cops: Woman arrested in robbery of 103-year-old

A woman has been arrested for allegedly robbing a 103-year-old woman in her Bellamy Loop apartment building. Police say they arrested 53-year-old Sharon McNeil on charges of robbery, assault and harassment.

A woman has been arrested for allegedly robbing a 103-year-old woman in her Bellamy Loop apartment building.
Police say they arrested 53-year-old Sharon McNeil on charges of robbery, assault and harassment.
According to officials. McNeil followed the victim, identified as Louise Signore, into her building. She then knocked Signore down and took her purse and meals from a community center, according to police.
EMS responded and evaluated Signore at the scene, but she refused medical attention.
Signore told News 12 that she is still jittery about what happened, and feels pain in her hand and leg.
