A couple reunited for the first time since the pandemic started while celebrating their wedding vow renewal.
Bernadette Caruso and Gerard Reynolds had been kept apart for nearly two years. Caruso has been in a nursing home, and Reynolds has been unable to see his wife.
The pair met in the 1970s. Caruso was an artistic director at a Brooklyn Community Theater and Reynolds was an actor.
The couple are now celebrating their 41st wedding anniversary and third wedding vow renewal.
The bride was wearing a dress that she embellished herself.
