Anyone planning to get a COVID-19 test today should get out early with sites across the city planning to close early due to the storm.
Testing sites will be closing at 2 p.m. and reopening at 12 p.m. Thursday, pending the outcome of the nor’easter. This applies to all testing sites run by the NYC Department of Health and Hospitals.
At CityMD in Georgetown, people were lined up waiting to get tested. At all CityMD testing sites there’s a possibility of people being cut off 90 minutes prior to closing time.
The storm could dump as much as 12 inches across the Bronx and Brooklyn. Road crews in Brooklyn have the plows and salt trucks ready to go.
