Peak season for City Island businesses begins
93ds agoMembers of step teams, dance teams and drumlines from the five boroughs came to compete Saturday at Uncommon Charter High School in Crown Heights.
The two-day event gives kids of all ages the chance to perform in front of a large audience. Some performers told News 12 that they were nervous, but pushed through.
“Once you perform and you enjoy and have fun – the nerves calm down,” said one participant.
For those who missed Saturday's performance, tickets are still available for Sunday's showcase.
