Democrat Darcel Clark has been declared the winner in the race for Bronx district attorney.
She faced Robert D. Siano, who ran on both the Republican and Conservative lines.
Clark, a Democrat Associate Justice for New York State, said she feels confident and is ready to take on the responsibilities of the position.
"All I wanted to do was come back to the Bronx and serve my community, and that's what I hope to continue to do after tonight's election," says Clark.
Clark will replace outgoing District Attorney Robert Johnson, who ran for the Supreme Court 12th Judicial District.
