The Empire State ranked 50th out of 50 states in terms of Christmas spirit in 2021.
The rankings were compiled by looking at online activity trends and area culture. This includes Google searches for Christmas movies and gingerbread houses, and the number of Christmas tree farms per capita.
In the same list, Connecticut ranked fifth in terms of Christmas spirit. New Jersey was at 29.
