A man was found shot to death in a car outside P.S. 212 in the Bronx Friday. NYPD officials were at the scene, along with medical examiners to investigate the death.

The body was removed before students got to school, according to officials. Parents say they had to walk their children around police tape in order to get to class. The school is providing counseling to children who may have trouble dealing with the scene.

Department of Education officials are calling the incident a police matter. Police are continuing to investigate the death.
