Dec 30, 2021, 11:58pmUpdated on Jan 03, 2022
By: News 12 Staff
The deadline for municipalities to choose whether to allow the sale of cannabis is hours away.
New York set Friday as the deadline for towns to opt out of allowing weed dispensaries.
Towns that do not are automatically opted in, but that can be reversed with a public referendum or a revote.
Nearly 40% of New York's municipalities have currently opted out.
