New Yorkers are masking up again in indoor public spaces as the delta variant is causing coronavirus cases to rise again.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends all individuals regardless of if they are fully vaccinated to wear a face covering to stop the spread of the virus.

There are also growing requirements for individuals to be vaccinated.

All city employees will have to either present proof of vaccination or agree to be tested weekly for the coronavirus.

Restaurants and bars may soon be next. Restaurant groups like the Union Square Hospitality Group are requiring vaccines for staff and patrons.

Mayor Bill de Blasio has encouraged the move but has not made it a requirement.

Broadway will also require people to wear masks and present proof of vaccination if they are over the age of 12.

Anyone under 12 or with a medical condition that can't get vaccination needs to show proof of a negative coronavirus test to go to a show.

The incentives to get vaccinated keep coming as the mayor has now implemented a $100 cash incentive for anyone who gets vaccinated at a city-run facility.

As of Friday, 450 people rolled up their sleeve and got their money.
