People can head to the polls at 6 a.m. Tuesday to cast their votes on primary day.
There are currently over 148,000 ballots that have already been cast statewide in early voting, more than half of those in New York City.
Major races underway feature returning and new candidates fighting for a seat in congressional and state senate races.
The redrawn 10th congressional district in Brooklyn and Lower Manhattan is one getting national attention.
This is a crowded race and an open seat, with 12 candidates on the ballot fighting for their chance to represent the area - including a current congress member, two state assembly members and a city council member to name a few.
In southern Brooklyn and Staten Island, former Rep. Max Rose hopes to return to Congress, but first he faces a pair of challengers in the Democratic primary, including fellow veteran Brittany Ramos Debarros.
That primary winner will go on to face the Republican primary winner, either incumbent Rep. Nicole Malliotakis or health care worker turned activist John Matland.
In the Bronx, there is a state senate race for District 33. Sen. Gustavo Rivera is fighting for his seat but he's also fighting the Bronx Democratic Party-supported candidate, community lawyer Miguelina Camilo.
It all comes down to how many people go out to the polls tomorrow to cast their ballot. Again, polls open at 6 a.m. and close at 9 p.m.
