Denigris Monuments and Mausoleums struggling to stay afloat after supply shortage due to pandemic
A mom-and-pop monument business that’s been in the Bronx since 1938 is now struggling to stay afloat.
This comes after an industry-wide shortage in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. Saying goodbye to a loved one is never easy, but they say it’s even harder when you have to wait to properly bury them with a headstone or monument.
They say the company has been waiting for months on shipments of rubber stencils from their supplier.
News 12’s Noelle Lilley spoke to Denigris Monuments and Mausoleums on how they’re fighting to stay in business.
