DOB places full vacate order after Bed-Stuy fire displaces residents

The DOB said in the report that a lot of the support beams in the ceilings along the ground floor were charred.

The City Department of Buildings released a report on a two-alarm fire that ripped through a three-story building in Bed-Stuy on Saturday morning.
The fire happened at 1794 Broadway.
The DOB said in the report that a lot of the support beams in the ceilings along the ground floor were charred.
They have placed a full vacate order on the building.
The Red Cross is in contact with residents who may have been displaced.
