A new documentary follows one Bronx woman's weight loss journey.
The film 'Define Yourself' follows 50-year-old Tabatha Herrell, of the Bronx.
Herrell lost 100 pounds after she says she wanted to make a change once her grandson was born.
Filmmaker Steve Adams worked with Herrell, who was receiving cortisone shots in her feet because she had pain just walking.
"When I first met Tabitha I wasn't sure she could do it. She came to me and she told me, 'listen I want to make this transition. I want to change my life.' I looked and I said 'that's going to take a lot of work'," Adams says.
Herrell works out at the gym daily, and she changed her diet.
She says it's a lifestyle choice people have to make if they want to be healthier.
