Amid continuing questions about learning during the pandemic, the Department of Education released the calendar for the 2020-2021 academic school year on Saturday.

The new calendar shows that students will still have a normal schedule with state holidays and recess days off.

Election Day will look a bit different, with students participating in class with remote learning for the day. Before the pandemic, students would normally have off as their schools would be used as polling sites.

Other parts of the school environment will be different as many students will decide not to learn in physical classrooms.

The City Outdoor Learning Initiative will also have some students learning in outdoor settings like schoolyards.
