The Putnam SPCA is trying to locate the owner of a dog that they say was abused this weekend.
The American bulldog-mastiff mix was discovered lying in a road in the town of Southeast early Sunday morning.
The older male dog is suffering from numerous health issues, including a broken jaw, severe dental disease and a mass that had grown so much that it broke the skin and extended to the dog's stomach. The dog was also underweight.
Investigators ask anyone who may know something to give them a call them at 845-520-6915.
