Bronx dog owners are voicing frustration that a promised makeover for Van Cortlandt Park in Woodlawn is not materializing.
The Parks Department was given $250,000 to upgrade the dog run and park, but work has not yet begun.
In a statement to News 12, the Parks Department says the project is "currently pending an archaeological investigation of the site." The park is close to the historical site of the Stockbridge Indian Memorial.
The area for dogs is in need of a new fence and other upgrades.
