Two dogs rescued from a Tinton Avenue home back in January are now up for adoption.
Police say Harriet and Valentine were living in poor conditions at the home of James Hines, of Morrisania.
As News 12 reported, Hines was arrested in January after officials found a total of 10 dogs in poor conditions at his home during a drug raid.
Officials say some dogs were chained to a fence out in the snow.
Neighbors said Hines had been illegally breeding for years until police served a search warrant looking for the drugs, which they found.
Hines was also arrested in 2015 on animal cruelty charges.
