Victims of domestic violence were treated to a spa day in the Bronx Tuesday as part of an annual event focused on spreading awareness.
Women and their case workers gathered inside a room transformed into a fully operational beauty salon at the Hostos Community College.
The women received manicures, facials, makeovers and massages.
Organizers say the event helps boost the women's confidence and helps spread awareness of domestic violence.
It is the 14th year for the Diva Spa event, which is sponsored by Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr.
