Community leaders and faith-based organizations came together Saturday to talk about domestic violence.
A workshop was held at the Bronx Christian Fellowship Church. Survivors who have overcome their abuse told their stories in the hopes that they can help others to overcome their abuse as well.
The workshop also taught Bronx residents how to handle domestic violence and raise awareness about the issue.
Organizers say the movement is here to stay and they won't stop until they see justice.
Anyone interested in getting involved or learning more about domestic violence can attend the next conference at the Bronx Christian Fellowship Church on Oct. 21.
