New York City is starting their second seasonable "pothole blitz" today with the goal of creating safer roads.

The Department of Transportation says they have 65 crews out to fix potholes around the city.

The DOT says they are focusing on "residential streets, commercial corridors and highways," as part of Mayor Bill de Blasio's $1.6 billion project to resurface city streets by 2025

The DOT says crews are dispatched daily to fix potholes, and have filled over 81,000 so far in 2021.

Anyone with a bad pothole near them can report it by calling 311.
