The Department of Transportation is inviting Bronx residents to share their input at a public workshop this weekend aimed to improve the Cross Bronx Expressway.
Officials say the purpose of the workshop is to develop concepts to address the main issues, like congestion, limited public transit and high asthma rates. Officials say the improvements are needed most along the Cross Bronx-corridor spanning from the Harlem River all the way to the Westchester Creek.
The workshop will be held Saturday at P.S. 106 in Parkchester from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m.
A virtual meeting will be held on June 13 at 6 p.m.
