DOT to host public workshop to hear feedback on how to make Brooklyn street safer

DOT officials want residents who live in the area of Third Avenue between 62nd Street and Prospect Avenue, right under the Brooklyn Queens Expressway, to give feedback on ways to improve the area.

The Department of Transportation wants to hear from the public today to help address safety concerns along Third Avenue in Brooklyn.
DOT officials want residents who live in the area of Third Avenue between 62nd Street and Prospect Avenue, right under the Brooklyn Queens Expressway, to give feedback on ways to improve the area.
This comes as the city works to make improvements to the BQE.
The public workshop will take place at 6 p.m.
