One block in Throgs Neck was still without power during Wednesday's nor'easter because of the storm that hit the area last Friday.
A toppled-over tree has been laying on power lines since Friday afternoon, according to residents on Hollywood Avenue.
A resident living in a house close to the tree says a Con Edison crew came to assess the situation Monday, but the tree has not yet been removed.
Con Edison's website said the tree would be cleared by 11 p.m. Wednesday, but one neighbor told News 12 a Con Edison employee said in a call that it wouldn't be resolved until Friday.
