Dozens gathered at Jacobi Medical Center today to honor those who lost their lives 13 years ago in the 9/11 attacks.
Gabriel Pacino was among many paying tribute to the victims at the Memorial Garden. He volunteered at ground zero, and says he will never forget that tragic day.
The ceremony held in the secluded grove at Jacobi Medical Center, has become an annual tradition for Bronx residents to reflect on the deadly attacks. Friends, family and those touched by the tragedy, honored the fallen through words, songs and silence.
At the center of the memorial are two plaques dedicated to those who lost their lives on Sept. 11.
The plaques feature the 156 names of those who either lived or worked in the Bronx and lost their lives 13 years ago.
