Dozens of people from different backgrounds and cultures gathered to observe Ramadan.
During Ramadan, iftar is the meal that's eaten in the evening when Muslims break their daily fast.
Organizers say this event is so special because people from different faiths are able to also experience this Muslim tradition.
Some said it's a great way to show how the city can come together despite any differences.   This is the fourth year this ceremony is being held and the first time in the Bronx.
