Dozens of people participated in a walk Saturday to raise awareness and stop senseless killings in the Bronx.
The event was organized by “No Voice Unheard.”
Family and friends who have been affected by violence in the community got a chance to share their personal stories, including Jackie Perez whose niece, Lisa Marie Valsaquez was killed in August.
Organizers say they hope the walk will show anyone who might be caught in the wrong crowd that violence isn't the answer.
