Dr. Seuss books back on top sellers list
The surge in sales comes just days after six of his books will be pulled from publication by the publisher.

The surge in sales comes
just days after six of his books will be pulled from publication by the publisher.
The business that preserves and protects the author's legacy said Tuesday that
the six books, including “And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street”
and “If I Ran the Zoo,” will stop being
published because of racist and insensitive imagery. “These books portray
people in ways that are hurtful and wrong,” Dr. Seuss Enterprises told The
Associated Press in a statement that coincided with the late author and
illustrator’s birthday.
Now, some of his classics like “The Cat in the Hat," which is not
one of the pulled books, are on Amazon and
Barnes and Nobles' top-10 best sellers list.
As for the six books that
were pulled, good luck finding them now. They are no longer available on the
retailer's website or on the official Dr. Seuss site.
