The Stars of the Sea-Sea Cadet Corps hosted a drill competition in University Heights.
Cadets from different organizations competed in squad drills, platoon drills and individual drill downs. Each group also had performances by their bands.
"It means a lot because usually we don't see this," said Anderson Tapia of the New York Grey Cadets, OCS. "We don't see three cadet corps coming together as one to do something good for the community."
Stars of the Sea-Sea Cadet Corps was founded in the 1950s and aims to instill the importance of national pride while maintaining a drug-free and gang-free lifestyle in young Americans.
