338ds agoA truck slammed into several parked cars along Kings Highway in Brooklyn sending the driver to the hospital, officials say.
Police say at around 4:50 a.m. Monday, a truck crashed into multiple cars and knocked over a traffic light. The driver of the truck is now in critical condition.
One neighbor who saw the crash says the driver called for help, and needed to be taken out of the vehicle by emergency crews.
The truck is from New Image Entertainment Corp., a New York trucking company based in Forrest Hills, Queens.
It's unclear what lead up to the crash at this time, according to police.
Anyone heading out to celebrate the Fourth of July may want to avoid the blocks surrounding Kings Highway and Bedford Avenue as crews conduct road cleanup of the accident.
