DSNY cracking down on 'illegal dumpers' across the Bronx

The Department of Transportation says that a huge trash heap over on Selwyn Avenue in Claremont was a result of illegal dumping.
After over a month, the Department of Sanitation has completely cleared the pileup and they want illegal dumpers to know that they are cracking down.
"Illegal dumpers should know that they are putting themselves at risk of a $4,000 fine and vehicle impound when, not if, they are caught," DSNY officials said.
