A street in Mount Eden is a hot spot for illegal dumping, according to the city's Department of Sanitation.

The department says the street that stretches above the Cross Bronx Expressway between Nelson Avenue and West 173rd Street has been cleaned up nine times this year.

People who live nearby say it's become a neighborhood nuisance, and they are calling for a permanent solution.

Around 280 cameras are set up in hotspots to catch illegal dumpers, officials say.

DSNY issued 300 summonses for illegal dumping in 2023.
