The Bronx's Eagle Academy for Young Men hoops team hopes its perfect regular season will translate to a win in the New York State Federation Basketball Tournament of Champions semifinals.
Eagle Academy started as a developmental team two years ago under the direction of Head Coach Rodney Plummer. The team ran through the PSAL B Division with a perfect 21-0 record to win a city title on the first try. Players on the all-junior squad believe their success will continue.
Eagle Academy opens play March 23 against Long Island's Malverne High School.
