East New York residents fed up as loud neighbors continue clamoring

A group of East New York residents who reside in a private building say they have reached their boiling point as late-night parties, loud music and constant noise have made living conditions unbearable.
The residents tell News 12 they've been trying to get help quieting their noisy neighbors for over a year now at 530 Hegeman Ave.
"The cops came a lot of times,” said one resident.
The NYPD told News 12 they have at least 18 noise complaints on file since Jan. 1, 2022. The latest complaint and cops being called to the apartment was 10 days ago.
The tenants added they have turned to every avenue, reaching out to the building's management company, the city and housing court.
"The clerk in the court system says you are in the system, sir, you have to wait, you have to wait, you have to wait,” said the building’s property owner.
One member of the building's ownership group acknowledged they've been in the process of evicting the troublesome tenants for not paying rent for months now. They are waiting for an eviction warrant from the court.
News 12 reached out to the tenants accused of making too much noise but have received no response yet.
The Office of Court Administration says the eviction case is "moving along."
